Most people call us with a date already in their head. Good — start there, because the date decides everything else. Once it's held, the rest of the planning is a series of small, answerable questions rather than one enormous one.
- Check your date. Reach out whenever the thought strikes you, including nights and weekends, and we'll tell you straight away whether the room is open.
- Name the occasion. We host eleven kinds of events, and knowing which one you're planning tells us how the space gets set.
- Talk through the menu. Our catering is a curated menu featuring exquisite flavors, and we'll build your selections around the style of the day.
- Order the cake. Custom cakes are expertly crafted here for any occasion, so the centerpiece dessert is handled in the same conversation.
- Come see the room. Walking the space in person is the fastest way to settle the last of the details.

The planning conversation looks different for each one. A bereavement gathering needs quiet and privacy above all else. A gala needs a room that works as hard as it looks. A prom party and a graduation party are both milestones, but they don't want the same lighting or the same menu. Summerset Group Hospitality is Central New Jersey's preferred event destination for over two decades. The venue is FEMA Approvedwhich matters to the organizations and agencies who book our professional meeting space as well as to families who want to know the building has been vetted. Amgad Azir owns and runs the operation, so the person you plan with is the person responsible for the day.

Open 24 hours, seven days a week
Our doors and our phone line are open Monday through Sunday, around the clock. That's deliberate. Wedding planning happens at 11pm after the kids are down. Bereavement arrangements can't wait for business hours. A company booking a meeting room may be working from a different time zone entirely. Whenever the question comes up, there's someone here to answer it.
It also means last-minute is not automatically a problem. If your date is still open, we can move quickly — on the room, on catering, and on a custom cake.
