No. Catering and custom cakes are both services we provide, so the menu and the cake come from the same team that runs your event.

Summerset Group Hospitality is Central New Jersey's preferred event destination for over two decades. We are a FEMA Approved venue at 60 Cottontail Lane in Somerset, and the work we do here is simple to describe: people come to us with a date and an occasion, and we build the day around them. Weddings, showers, galas, memorials, board meetings, graduations. Owner Amgad Azir keeps the operation hands-on, which is why you can reach a real person about your date rather than a form that disappears into a queue.

Twenty years in one building teaches you things. It teaches you how long a receiving line really takes, where the bar should sit so it doesn't block the dance floor, and how to turn a room from a sunlit bridal shower in the afternoon into a black-tie fundraiser by evening. We don't outsource that knowledge. The same team that walks you through the space on your first visit is the team working your event.

Catering and custom cakes are handled in house, which removes two of the hardest vendors from your list. You taste the menu here, you approve the cake design here, and on the day both arrive from the same kitchen that serves the room.

Open 24 hours, seven days a week

Our doors are open Monday through Sunday, 24 hours a day. That is not a marketing line — it's how events actually run. Setup crews arrive before dawn. A gala breaks down at two in the morning. A family planning a bereavement service needs the room on short notice, on a Sunday, and cannot wait until Tuesday for a callback. Whatever hour your event lands on, someone here is awake for it.
